These are often exaggerated delays to avoid customer disappointment. Where no delivery time is suggested this item should be available immediately. Approximately 80% of orders are fulfilled before their estimated delivery allowance date. While we keep a general stock of all items advertised but stock levels change daily. Parcels are sent via Royal Mail. Please allow 1-2 days for in-stock items to be picked and packed from our storage facility and collected for delivery at busy times unless express/special delivery is arranged prior, this keeps costs down for our customers! Our postage/shipping rates include VAT and are highly competitive. Should the cost of posting your order exceed what you have paid, we will cover the extra cost ourselves. Shipping fees are equated depending on the weight and size of your order. If you require next day delivery which is not automatically offered in the ordering process, please contact us before ordering, we may be able to provide you with this service. Please contact us before mid-day if you require this service. This service may incur a small additional fee depending on the size of your order. This service is currently only available to customers in the UK.

 Out of Stock Items: If an item is out of stock at the time of purchase, you will be notified and we will send it as soon as possible. Because we are committed to customer satisfaction, Dreamgirl Shopping DOES NOT DROP-SHIP! When your order contains just in-stock items, the order will be shipped (possibly on the same day!). We order out of stock items from the US on a Monday (at Holiday/Seasonal times we order in from the US on Mondays and Wednesdays). The average delivery time for out of stock items is 10-14 days.

 Special Order Items: Across our store you will see a vast array of products, our lines held in stock (between 5000 and 7000 lines are held in stock at any one time) are based on popular purchasing trends. For example, fishnet tights in all colours - all colours are mentioned in the item description but your required colour may not selectable at time of purchase. This would be for two reasons. Either the manufacturers themselves are out of stock in this colour despite us tring to order it in, or this colour is not a line we hold in stock. If you require a colour that is not selectable, please contact us and we will add this colour to our next order with the manufacturer and contact you when it arrives in our stock. There is no charge for this service.

Manufacturer Delivery Times: When an item size or colour is out of stock, we order in bulk from the manufacturer. These all quote up to 14 working days for delivery, but vary in their delivery speeds, here is a rough idea of their delivery timescales:

Elegant Moments - Typically fairly quick, though sometimes experiences some extended delays - especially on leather items. Out of stock items are usually delivered in 7-10 days

Allure - Please allow at least 14 days for Allure items except those without a delivery timescale in the product description.

Hustler - Standard 10-14 days.

Dreamgirl - Dreamgirl out of stock items do tend to take longer, which is beyond our control. To try and compensate for this Dreamgirl items that are subject to lengthy delays are marked as out of stock, although we update our live stock system frequently, if you require an item urgently we recommend that you contact us for confirmation of availability.

Leg Avenue - Standard 10-14 days.

Roma - 7-14 working days from the day your order is placed.

Forplay & G World - Very prompt, usually 7 - 14 working days.

Espiral - 7-10 working  days for out of stock sizes.

Body Language Fashions: A lengthy wait - 21 days minimum

* All these manufacturers are US based, we order out of stock items from the US on a Monday (at Holiday/Seasonal times we order in from the US twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays).

All our other clothing manufacturers are Europe or UK based and deliveries usually arrive within 7 working days.

Seasonal & Holiday Orders: Such as Christmas, Halloween and Valentines are very busy and place a high demand on our stock levels. Please bear this in mind. We recommend allowing at least 10 - 14 days to receive your order in time. Some manufacturers cease making seasonal items before the holiday is over and there will be an extensive delay in receiving seasonal goods ordered if not done so early enough. While this is beyond our control, we try to list seasonal items as early as possible and encourage our customers to order early or pre-order outside of the season if buying in bulk (eg. dance/theatre groups).
